Although transfer between husband and wife during the lifetime has no Stamp Duty been charged, BUT, do not forget that you still have to bear the legal fee and the hassle to do so.
The Stamp Duty for inheritance via Will or Distribution Act 1958/Intestate Succession Ordinance 1960 or Faraid is only at nominal value of RM10.00 per transfer.
OK. Now, I know you might be complaining about writing a Will will cost you $$ too.
Well, even writing a Very Super Extremely Will cost only a few thousand.
Do compare this Will-writing fee with the Stamp Duty and RPGT, which fee you are more willing to pay?
